Certificate Guidelines for Teachers
Teaching sound healing is a profound calling, one that requires dedication, expertise, and a commitment to preserving the sacredness of this practice. SHVSA’s guidelines for teachers are designed to uphold the highest standards in sound healing education. By following these guidelines, you will be equipped to pass on your knowledge and skills to the next generation of sound healers, ensuring that they too can practice with integrity and respect for this ancient art. As a teacher, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of sound healing, and SHVSA is here to support you every step of the way.
1. Certification and Experience:
To qualify as a teacher, an individual must be certified by a SHVSA-certified school or should have gone through SHVSA-partnered training. We recommend you have at least one year of experience in the field or become confident with your skills before you begin teaching. This experience ensures that teachers have a deep understanding of the techniques and therapies they will be instructing.
Teachers must be certified to teach at the specific level they have practiced and mastered. For example, a Level 3 certified practitioner may only teach Level 3 courses.
The certification fee for teachers is $199, which supports SHVSA’s efforts to maintain high teaching standards across all certified schools.
2. Registration and Approval:
All certified teachers must update their information on the SHVSA website, including their experience, credentials, and the details of where they are teaching. This transparency ensures that students receive quality education from qualified instructors.
Teachers must submit an application for approval by SHVSA. Once approved, they may begin teaching the courses they are certified in.
3. Continuous Education:
Teachers are expected to continuously update their knowledge and skills in sound healing, staying informed about the latest developments in the field. This commitment to ongoing education ensures that they provide their students with the most current and effective training.
4. Certification Renewal:
Teacher certifications are valid for one year and automatically renew at the same price of $199. Teachers must remain in compliance with SHVSA’s guidelines to maintain their certification.
